COLLABORATION

Value-Centered Management is a business system created by the CEO and Founder of Stellar Enterprise, Michael E. Parker (no relation) that teach companies how to examine what is "valuable" and remove the excess. In much of the analysis of a business's operation "COLLABORATION" is required.

This means simply that the sales team must talk to the marketing team and the marketing team must speak to the product fulfillment center to "COLLABORATE" together in designing the best operating system and processes that everyone values.

Sales needs things fast, Quality Control needs them right, Administrations needs them documented and Finance needs them cheaply. How does this all work?

Value-Centered Management believes we must visualize our present state and "COLLABORATE" with all the appropriate parties to achieve the highest and best use of all of the resources we have to bring what a customer values and is willing to pay us for.

When we "COLLABORATE" we can see if a product and or service in not moving and we can evaluate why and determine if we should change it, scrap it or simply market it in a better way to promote it.

If you want to learn more about Value-Centered Management "Google" the subject, check out our website or Mr. Parker's new book "Who Said So" by Wiley Publishing. It's on Amazon too.

So What Does Collaboration Mean To You? How can we apply this principle and improve our lives and the lives of our networking partners? We want to hear your stories, ideas and opinions.

What Could Your Company Look Like if It Got a Make Over?

Sometimes I forget what I used to feel like when I worked outside of a Value-Centered Management enterprise. I forget that I worked alone and often was in competition with my coworkers for business, success or in my desires for ego appreciation.

You know what I mean. At work we want to do a good job, get paid and some people like me feed on praise. I am glad to report that the training I have gone through has made me aware of this weakness and I won the battle however I wonder what other companies would look like and feel like if they got a Value-Centered Make Over.

I occasionally enter a business and it looks and feels like something is lacking. The office may be unorganized or the employees may be bickering with little wars and I think what would they look like if we did some Company Culture or Team Building workshops for them.

VCMI can change your company and help you create an environment where people work together instead of against each other. That will increase productivity and professionalism.

The long term benefits are very profitable. So I ask you what would your company look like if it got a make over? What would you like to see different? Clean desks, uncluttered areas, unity and smiling faces? We want to know.

If you think your company is a model please explain why and what you attribute your success to.

Thanks for participating in this blog where professionals from around the Globe can learn how to build companies that are centered on Value Centered Management principles.

How Important Is It To Know What Your Customers Value?

At Value-Centered Management we understand that value is the innermost desire and the driving force that causes a customer to spend their money. We analyze value in detail and strive to always have the pulse of what our customers value as it changes.

Customers can get board and restless looking at the same things and that is why you must understand what they value and as their tastes change provide revisions to your products and or services. They want to try new things and progress.

Each customer is different and you must be able to see the characteristics of each demographic group so that you don't change something they like as is. Take Coke, they changed the Original and lost many customers trying to improve. Now they share the cola market and have other products lines but the original was tampered with and that cost them business.

What do your customers value and what are you doing to stay on top of your game?

We appreciate your input and comments.

Supporting Value Centered Management Is a Great Thing!

Do you like to help others? Do you want to make them happy? Then support Value-Centered Management because it is a really great thing.

Value-Centered Management is a business practice that focuses on what internal and external customers value and removes the things that they don't value.

For example: McDonald's sells a ton of burgers but many customers did not value the quick, fast, cheap hamburger and valued fast, healthy food. So McDonald's started offering salads and chicken wraps.

Thus McDonald's used Value-Centered Management in theory because they changed to retain the customers they were losing who no longer valued what they were selling.

Can you think of other Value-Centered Management examples? What about at your job or in your home? Do you ever make changes? We want to hear from you.

I think Value-Centered Management is a great thing. I use it at work and in my personal life and I am so very happy. I started exercising because I no longer valued being over weight. I hated it and struggled with diets until I used the principles of understanding what I valued more.

I understood that I really do value being healthy and at a normal weight so I finally got the courage to step up and make a change. I changed my mindset to begin valuing exercising and being healthy and you know what? --- I love it. I actually don't like starting my day with out working out. I still have a long way to go to get my weight down but it feels great to have the power to change what I value and that leads to my actions changing.

I am in control of my life and I can manage my career and life so much better.

Thank you Value-Centered Management!

So what do you want to change?
Where can you apply Value-Centered Management?

Do you know someone this could help?
What about your spouse? Is there something they do that you don't value?

We want to hear from you on this blog

Value-Centered Management Works

Just ask Stellar Enterprise team members Julie Parker and Lashanna Jackson who were awarded Ambassadors of the Year from the Richmond Chamber of Commerce. The two employees utilized the teachings from Value Centered Management to coordinate the Annual Ambassador Rally which took about 8 months of planning to execute a major event attended by 300 people and 4 speakers.

"I could never have done this with out VCMI", Parker says "and of course my Co-Chair Lashanna (who also had the VCMI teachings) was the back bone of my strength, VCMI has improved my career dramatically".
